I would like to see tighter integration of the mail and calendar functions of the gmx service. Some initial ideas are;
Make the calender system intigrated with mail. For example I would like to see that when a date is found within a message, than right clicking on the date gives the option for 'add this date to calendar'. At which point a box opens allowing you to add the date to the calendar with information such as location, description etc.
A second idea is to create a todo system. Whilst the calendar is great, it lacks a system for creating to do/tasks. It would be great if this function was available and the user could give tasks priority of set a level of completeness.
A third idea, is to integrate the whole interface more. I would like to see on the amil side of the system, upcoming dates presented. For example any events that have been added to the calendar that are due in the next 7 days, be presented.
At the moment the whole system feels quite separated. I understand that there are limitation within what can be achieved gives the amount of screen real estate. However i believe features such as those described above would be benificial to all users. Overall giving the system more of a personal management system feeling.
