This service should work with all browsers

I second this but I'd take it one step further. GMX should work with any "modern" browser.

And the guys over at Opera have said they would be willing to help GMX...

Yes please don't block opera, even it it doesn't work as it is meant to, atleast we can still use our favourite browser!

I have Firefox installed just to use GMX... Opera rocks! I think GMX should work with Firefox, Opera and any browser based on WebKit (like Chrome and Safari)... and I think users can help GMX to test it

Due to the popularity of this request, GMX will offer it's service running via the Opera browser. This should be implemented by the end of next week. A new thread in our forum will open soon in order to accompany the development. A link to this thread will be posted here a.s.a.p.

I have come across this problem due to changing operating systems - my OS comes with Seamonkey which apart from this issue, i'm quite happy with.
I have also tried Opera, but still no luck.

Is there any good reason why other browsers cannot use GMX???

great... do that, and I'm switching from g-mail my default account .. Opera is by far the best browser for advanced internet users , so it should be your first choice!
One thing also.. gmx imap is not working correctly in opera, goes in the infinite loop on access to server, you should fix that also.

Implemented? It's not working in my Opera (Windows version 9.54) yet.

It does work! After I deleted the gmx cookies and restarted Opera, gmx loads in opera (I also set Opera to identify as Firefox, but I have no idea if that is really necessary)!

EVen the mail collector it works. But can't connect with ma operamail acount
any ideas?

Just signed up for gmx only to find it doesn't work! I just get a nice big blank white page - nice first impression.

I've tried masking as Firefox, playing around with cookie settings, clearing cookies, restarting, etc. - no joy.
