The WBO lightweight champion thinks her life experiences set her apart from the other fighters she faces in the ring.
She told Boxing News magazine: “I have got so many life experiences in different aspects. I have been to university.
“I have worked in a hospital and that puts things into perspective, because that is a matter of life and death.
I have got a different kind of mental resilience.”
Rhiannon’s background is in unlicensed boxing and though she knows people will use it as an “insult” she isn’t ashamed of her beginnings.
She said: “I’m keeping the white-collar tag forever. It is part of my story. I’m not ashamed of it. The progression that I have made.
"A lot of these girls have been boxing their whole lives, but I have only been boxing for a few years and I started at a white-collar gym, not a reputable boxing gym.
"So, from where I started to where I am now, I know people will try and use it as an insult, but it shows everyone just how fast I am learning.
"I wouldn’t give up the way I have come for the world. I have got so many life experiences in different aspects."
