The Reds secured an impressive 3-0 victory over host's Bayern Munich on Tuesday before losing on penalties to Atletico Madrid the following night.
Belgium international Origi believes it is important Jurgen Klopp's side take on teams with European pedigree during the off-season, as it will stand them in good stead as they prepare for their return to the Champions League.
"As a group we just have to keep building on our fitness, keep analysing our games and keep learning from these moments, special moments playing against Atletico, against Bayern - against top teams," he told the club's official website.
"It's preparing for what can happen in the Champions League so we will do everything we can to be in it."
Liverpool must negotiate a playoff tie later this month to secure their place in the group stage of Europe's premier club competition.
The draw for that two-legged showdown will be made on Friday, with the Reds set to face either Steaua Bucharest, Young Boys, Nice, Hoffenheim or Istanbul Basaksehir.
