The Monaco midfielder was a revelation after joining Leicester City on loan in January, and during that time he caught the eye of United, Tottenham, Manchester City and Arsenal.
The 22-year-old chipped in with three goals and five assists in 13 Premier League appearances and it is no surprise that the Foxes would like to keep him on a permanent basis.
Tielemans is back with Monaco but is expected to move on again during the close season, and he seems to like the idea of returning to the English top flight.
"They are really big teams in England and Europe," he said when quizzed about United's interest.
"It's flattering to hear those names and it gives me confidence. I try to play my game on the pitch and do my best."
Much will depend on the future of Pogba but it seems as though Tielemans is a target if the Frenchman moves on to Real Madrid.
