Everton boss sets his sights on four more signings
The Toffees have already wrapped up a deal for Andre Gomes from Barcelona, and are now turning their attentions to another player who impressed while on loan last season, Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma. Talks are ongoing and Silva says he is hopeful of getting a deal done before turning his attention to strengthening other areas of his squad with as many as four new players. Chelsea are under a transfer ban and could be reluctant to lose a key player, but Silva is still confident. 'I am hopeful,' Silva said when asked about the Toffees' chances of signing Zouma. 'I think I am hopeful like all of our fans are but I have to tell you that we have different solutions because we cannot just have one solution. 'I am hopeful and if we can give our fans this fantastic feeling it will be key. But, if not, we have to go in a different way but it is part of the market, part of creating a squad. After that position we have three or four more to strengthen.'
