A study by Visit Orlando has found that people like to plan their breaks early on in the year so they can look past their busy next few months and think about their much needed holiday.
And whilst people like to plan their vacations well in advance, only 22 per cent of people said they book their activities in advance of their stay. 90 per cent of those surveyed ranked getting a good deal at the top of their priority list.
The poll was conducted with 2,000 people and it was revealed that 80 per cent of people go through three stages when they book their holiday abroad. First, they look for inspiration on where they should head to, secondly, they then compare prices and thirdly, they go through and make the booking.
George Aguel, president and chief executive of Visit Orlando, said: "Orlando has always been a popular destination for British holidaymakers because we are a destination that offers not just great value but also guarantees lifelong memories will be formed. Tools like the Visit Orlando App are extremely useful planning resources for families wanting to make sure they maximise both time and money while including activities that will make the holiday meaningful to them."
