The 32-year-old striker welcomed the former Crystal Palace midfielder, 23, to the Baverians last year, and Kane has now warned Bayern Munich’s rivals that the pair’s bond is only growing stronger.
Speaking with TNT Sports, he said: “With Michael, the second year I feel like our relationship is getting stronger and stronger. We’re understanding our game more. Even Serge [Gnabry] has been fantastic to start with this season.”
The England captain - who has scored eight goals since the Bundesliga began this season - said it has been a “great start” for Bayern Munich, and is happy to have added heavy hitters like Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson to the squad.
He said: “It’s been a great start. I feel we have just built on what we started last year with the coach [Vincent Kompany], and obviously added Luis this year, who has been great … great player to play with. I think he wants to effect the game, he wants to assist, he wants to score.
“Now we’ve added Nicolas, so yeah, we’re just trying to make it as easy for him [as possible]. Right now, it takes a bit of time to obviously learn how we play, but he shows a lot of great attributes that I think we can get the best out of and I think he’ll be a big help for us this year.”
Reflecting on his own experience at Bayern Munich - who are currently topping the Bundesliga with nine points - Kane said he had been “going into every game confient” he will get chances to score.
He said: “From my point of view, I’m going into every game confident I’m going to get chances. So as a striker, you can’t complain about that and I know if I get chances I’ll be able to score and so far it’s been that way this season.”
Bayern Munich are due to face Chelsea in their first match of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday (17.09.25), and will be looking to continue their strong start to the season.
