Jake Paul's fight with Gervonta 'Tank' Davis moved to Miami

Jake Paul's exhibition fight against Gervonta 'Tank' Davis has been moved to Miami.

The bout was due to take place on November 14 in Atlanta, Georgia but will now be staged on the same day at the Kaseya Center in the Florida city.

Paul said: "New city, same mission, seek and destroy the tank.

"Kaseya Center. Friday, November 14. I'm bringing the heat, and Miami will see me take down this angry elf while the world watches."

In a statement of his own, Davis said: "Jake Paul has been cherry picking in the sport of boxing for a while now, but he picked the wrong opponent this time.

"He better start losing some weight, chasing some chickens, and pray that helps him some on fight night."

Paul has spent much of his boxing career at the cruiserweight limit but will drop down to lightweight to take on Davis - the division's WBA world title holder.

The social media's star MVP co-promoter Nakisa Bidarian has branded Paul's clash with Davis as "the most disruptive" fight of the year.

He said: "We could not be more thrilled to showcase this blockbuster event at Kaseya Center. On Friday, November 14, fans in Miami and tens of millions watching globally will witness two of boxing's most electrifying stars collide in a once-in-a-lifetime showdown."

Speculation has risen about a possible fight between Paul and former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in recent months and Bidarian suggested before the exhibition with Davis was announced that a bout "can absolutely happen".

The promoter told Sky Sports News: "I think the fight can absolutely happen. I'm looking at it as Jake versus Joshua, which is quite biblical, and it's quite impactful in many ways.

"I think size-wise, we can get comfortable with it, and I think experience-wise, Jake is learning very fast and growing, and Joshua is a little long in the tooth. So it could be a very interesting matchup, and we're actively discussing it with Matchroom."
