The 68-year-old sporting legend is a big fan of the Swede’s game and thinks he’ll go from strength to strength once he’s secured his first major title.
Asked by Today’s Golfer magazine who he thinks will be the next breakout superstar, he said: “The one with the most fabulous swing is Ludvig Aberg.
“My goodness, he clipped a 2-iron 270 yards and I fell off my chair watching it.
“Everything is just so beautiful.
“He does get knee trouble, which is the last place you want to get an injury.
“But once he finds that trust and gets across the line in a Major, he’s the guy.”
Nick is also hugely impressed by Scottie Scheffler’s game.
He said:” Scottie seems to be very clear-headed right now.
“He’s in that wonderful moment where he trusts his game 100%. It’s like Tiger [Woods] was.
“Scottie’s in that lovely mindset and routine of going to every tournament thinking, how do I find a way to win this?
“Whereas other guys are just trying to get to Sunday.
“Some guys are choking on Thursday, but Scottie is choke free at the moment, which is amazing.”
