The YouTuber-turned-boxer will take on the former heavyweight world champion in an eight-round bout on Friday (19.12.25) and thinks he is capable of causing an almighty shock in Miami.
Paul said at a public workout for the fight: "One of us is going to sleep - that's what we're going to do here. That's what this heavyweight fight is all about.
"I started my boxing journey here in Miami. We're bringing it back and I'm going to shock the world and pull off the biggest upset in sports history."
Joshua appeared relaxed at the workout and has vowed to show Paul "respect" despite the vast difference in boxing experience between the pair.
The British fighter said: "It was an honour to be invited to America.
"To come and perform in front of some amazing people, the Miami crowd, the international crowd. So I just said: 'It's got to be done.' I got to give him [Paul] respect, because I'm f****** ready."
Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that he expects his fighter's punching power to end Paul's hopes inside the opening two rounds of the contest.
He said: "I expect my fighter to win inside two rounds with a devastating knockout.
"He could hit Jake to the body and he would break his ribs and he wouldn't be able to get up.
"If he hits him clean, he will knock him spark out. Or the referee could jump in.
"We don't know how it could play out but with the way AJ punches - with the speed and destruction - as soon as Jake is hit on the chin, the fight is over."
