The Loughborough and England second-row doesn’t think she’s particularly superstitious but admitted she feels “really sad” if she has a pre-match meal without her favourite food.
Asked about her superstitions, she told Rugby World magazine: “I’m not that bad with them.
“But I always put my tape on in an order – I’ll do my left and then my right. That’s just my routine.
“I hate being out of that order.
“Also, I always have to have garlic bread the day before a game. I’m really sad if I’ve had a meal without one.
“I feel like I perform when I have that.”
The 22-year-old sportswoman also admitted she is “obsessed” with crisps, particularly giant Wotsits.
Asked her guilty pleasure, she said:” I’m a big sucker for crisps. If I open a big sharing pack, the whole bag is gone.
“I would take crisps over chocolate and sweets any day.
“I love giant Wotsits. I’m obsessed. The sweet and spicy ones.”
Lilli confessed to having splurged on various kitchen gadgets that she’s never actually used.
She admitted: “I bought a pancake of waffle thing that’s still in the box. It’s just there.
“Once I bought a blender and I just haven’t used it at all.
“It’s just sat in my cupboard. At the time it seemed like a really good idea.”
