The European champions progressed to the Budapest showpiece against Arsenal later this month following a 1-1 draw (winning 6-5 on aggregate) against Bayern Munich in the semi-final second leg on Wednesday (06.05.25) and the coach is delighted that the fans have another big final to look forward to.
Enrique said: "Good memories. We could leave the match with a lot of intensity. The defence were better than the attack. The character we showed against a team like Bayern is so positive. We're so happy to reach a second Champions League final in a row.
"It was very intense. Very difficult. They play football at the highest level. Both teams are similar, we love to press higher. We are very happy.
"In two days I'm going to celebrate my birthday. I'm very happy. We're in the next phase of the competition, the final of the Champions League. We want to give our supporters that kind of gift."
Enrique is confident that his team can complete a successful defence of their continental crown when they take on the Gunners on May 30.
The Spanish manager said: "Do I believe we can win the final? Yes. Do you remember what I said after group stage? I said I don't see any team being better than we are. The critics were saying that PSG are maybe not that great, but I was right."
Enrique continued: "Bayern are at our level and Arsenal have been one of the best teams this season. They have had an incredible year and are still chasing the Premier League. They are in the final, but I believe in my team and it is important to underline that.
"We showed over the last three years that we are ready to play against any opponents. This is a team you can count on because we are always fighting."
