Cherries seeing Jordon Ibe's worth

Bournemouth fans are beginning to see the true worth of Jordon Ibe on the wing, according to team-mate Andrew Surman.

The former Liverpool man netted his first goal for the club in their win over Arsenal and has been in excellent form in the five-game unbeaten run in the Premier League which has eased relegation fears at the club.

Ibe suffered a difficult first 12 months at the club following his £15million move for Liverpool but fans are seeing the best of him now, according to Surman.

He told the Echo: "I think confidence is a big factor.

"Sometimes when players are not playing with confidence that can be quite detrimental to their performance.

"You can be someone with a lot of ability, but if you haven't got the confidence to show it then it is very difficult.

"I think he is looking confident at the moment and Jordon Ibe with confidence is a very dangerous player."
