Ryanair adds new London routes for summer 2026

Ryanair has announced a series of new routes from London for summer 2026, expanding its network with flights to popular European destinations and boosting capacity across existing services.

The budget airline confirmed five new routes, including flights from London to Wroclaw, a historic city in southwestern Poland often referred to as the “Venice of the North”. Additional routes from London Stansted Airport will include services to Glasgow, as well as two Italian destinations, Forli and Parma. Travellers will also be able to fly to Malmö in Sweden, offering access to the Baltic coast.

Alongside the new routes, Ryanair will increase frequencies on more than 50 existing services from London, covering major holiday hotspots such as Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga and Malta. The expansion reflects continued demand for European travel and aims to provide passengers with greater flexibility and choice.

To support the growth, Ryanair will base an additional aircraft at London Stansted, bringing its London fleet to 57 aircraft. The move represents a further $100 million (£74 million) investment in the capital and is expected to create around 30 new jobs, including roles for pilots, cabin crew and engineers.

Ryanair’s CEO Michael O’Leary said: “Ryanair continues to invest in modest growth in the UK and we are now the UK’s No. 1 passenger airline, with 61 million passengers in 2026. Today we open five new London routes for summer 2026, with frequency increases and one extra aircraft in Stansted.”

The airline is also expanding beyond London, with previously announced routes from Newcastle set to connect passengers to destinations including Malta, Budapest, Marrakesh and Brussels.

The latest announcement highlights Ryanair’s ongoing investment in the UK market as it continues to grow its European network ahead of the busy summer travel season.
