From meeting sporting heroes to enjoying theme park festivals and adrenaline-filled evenings, the operator says its attractions offer plenty of ways to create memorable days out without travelling abroad.
At Madame Tussauds London, visitors can get up close to brand-new wax figures of England captain Harry Kane and Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris, alongside sporting icons including Kylian Mbappé, Mary Earps and Lewis Hamilton. Meanwhile, a trip on the London Eye offers panoramic views of some of the capital's best-known sporting venues, including Wembley Stadium and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Families can also experience some of Merlin's newest attractions this summer. At Chessington World of Adventures Resort, the recently opened World of PAW Patrol invites guests to join their favourite rescue pups on a series of family adventures, while SEA LIFE London Aquarium has introduced its new Sea Creature Rescue Squad experience. Elsewhere, Shrek's Adventure! London is celebrating 25 years of the much-loved film franchise, and The London Dungeon continues to immerse guests in London's darker history.
Festival season also comes to Merlin's attractions. LEGOLAND Windsor Resort will host the return of LEGO Festival from 20 July to 31 August, featuring a LEGO F1 Thrill Zone, live entertainment and interactive building experiences. At Thorpe Park, Summer Lates: Rides + Rhythms will see the park stay open until 9pm on selected August dates, combining sunset coaster rides with live DJ sets.
Families looking to extend their visit can choose from themed overnight accommodation, including Shark Cabins at Thorpe Park, LEGO-themed rooms at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and the Safari and Azteca hotels at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
To make summer days out even more affordable, Merlin is also offering reduced VAT prices on visits between 25 June and 1 September 2026, alongside discounted multi-attraction tickets, giving families even more opportunities to enjoy some of the UK's biggest attractions while saving money.
