With MailCheck, you have direct access to your GMX email account right from your browser. After you’ve installed the add-on, you’ll see an envelope icon in the toolbar, which will inform you when you’ve got a new email. Clicking on the envelope icon in your browser allows you to access your inbox directly. This instant access saves you the trouble of first looking for your email provider, trying to remember your email address and password (if you haven’t got them saved) and finally logging in. When you’re in the middle of a busy working day, you don’t always have time to go through all these unnecessary steps.

MailCheck can also be customised to your liking. You can stick with the default settings or you can tweak the add-on until you’re satisfied. Incoming pop-up messages as well as sound notifications notify you of new emails; it’s possible to enable or disable them if you wish. MailCheck can also be used over multiple email accounts, not just for your GMX account so you can keep track of all your emails no matter which address they are sent to.
