Anthony Joshua: Oleksandr Usyk will beat Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua has tipped Oleksandr Usyk to come out on top against Tyson Fury.

The British heavyweight will be an interested observer when the two world champions clash in the undisputed bout in Saudi Arabia next month and Joshua thinks that the "phenomenal" ability of the Ukrainian - who defeated him twice in world title fights - will make the difference against the Gypsy King.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Joshua said: "Well I've fought Oleksandr Usyk so I can only go on what I have experienced from him.

"Phenomenal fighter, does everything to a tee and I would say he is going to do a really good job.

"I have never fought Tyson Fury so I can't really speak on how he will perform or what it is like to face him so only speaking on what I know I would have to say Oleksandr Usyk will be victorious."

Joshua recently suggested that powerful Saudi promoter Turki Alalshikh told him that he could take on the winner of the clash between Fury and Usyk in September after impressing in his wins over Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou.

The fighter said: "To be honest, he said be ready for September.

"Why he said that is because they have got a fight on June 1, all the heavyweights, five vs five, Eddie Hearn vs Frank Warren.

"And they have got Fury vs Usyk in May. And then they will have me in September. It's unbelievable."
