Elliot Daly makes England return

Elliot Daly has been added to England's squad for next week's Test against Argentina after recovering from a knee injury.

The Wasps wing had been expected to miss the contest with the Pumas after withdrawing from a recent training camp in Portugal, while he was also forced to watch from the sidelines as his club were beaten 53-41 at home by Newcastle Falcons in the Anglo-Welsh Cup on Saturday.

However, it now appears the 25-year-old, who toured with the British and Irish Lions in New Zealand over the summer, has recovered from his injury setback, as he has been included in Eddie Jones' 33-man squad for Saturday's clash with Argentina at Twickenham.

Fly-half Marcus Smith, who was originally named as an apprentice by Jones, has not been included in the final squad, as he will instead return to club side Harlequins to receive treatment on a foot injury he sustained during the training camp in Portugal.

England will also monitor the fitness of wing Jonny May, who has been named in the squad, but is a major doubt for Saturday's Test due to a hamstring strain.
