Yannick Bolasie coy on Toffees return

Everton midfielder Yannick Bolasie is making good progress as he battles back from injury but is unable to put a date on his return.

The 28-year-old has been on the sidelines since suffering cruciate knee ligament damage in December, and is due back at the Finch Farm training base on Monday.

The £25million signing from Crystal Palace will then undergo further tests to monitor his progress and only then will they have a clearer picture of when he will be able to step up his return.

Bolasie is refusing to put a timescale on his return and just wants to make sure he is fully fit when he does come back.

"I haven't set a date yet for that return. I can't really say right now," Bolasie revealed. "I'm back in on Monday at Everton. I'm probably going to be integrated with the team then, but comeback I don't know.

"I want to make sure I'm feeling good. It's not just my name on my shirt on the pitch; I want to make sure it's me."
