Dylan Hartley shrugs off injury concerns

Dylan Hartley has shrugged off England's growing injury list, saying he's not concerned by it heading into the Six Nations.

England have had plenty of injury problems in the build-up to the tournament, with Henry Slade the latest player to be ruled out for at least the start of the Six Nations.

His absence adds to Eddie Jones' injury worries as first-choice No.8 Billy Vunipola is set to miss the entire tournament with a fractured arm while Nathan Hughes is out and wing Elliot Daly is also struggling with an ankle injury.

However, skipper Harley says injuries are part and parcel of the game and England must just get on with it.

"Everyone's got injuries, it's just something that you've got to deal with. We seem to deal with it just fine," Hartley told Sky Sports.

"We're missing some guys but it presents opportunities to others and we've been fine in the past and we're obviously blessed with the depth of talent that we have.

"The guys that have come in already this week have shown good energy, a good keenness and it's good. They've handled themselves very well so we're not concerned at all about injuries."
