Claude Puel expects Andy King exit

Leicester City boss Claude Puel has revealed midfielder Andy King could be moved on before the end of the January window.

Adrien Silva's arrival at the King Power Stadium at the start of the month has seen Wales international King move further down the pecking order with the east midlands outfit.

The 29-year-old, who has scored 62 goals in 378 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes, is now considering his options and Puel has admitted he could leave Leicester before the deadline.

The French tactician told the Leicester Mercury: "We will see with Andy. I appreciate him because he is professional and an example for the squad. He is an example for the team and we will see.

"We have a lot of players in his position and it is difficult to give him more game time but we will see what happens at the end of the window.

"Perhaps for some players, without the game time, they would like to go and we will see if there are opportunities for them."
