Baily Cargill attracting Scottish interest

Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill is reportedly being lined up by a number of Scottish clubs.

Cargill joined Bournemouth's youth ranks in 2008 but has failed to make any real impression on the first team during his stay at the club, making just one Premier League appearance.

The 22-year-old, who enjoyed temporary spells at AFC Totton, Welling United, Torquay United, Coventry City, Gillingham and Fleetwood Town during his career, is currently on loan at Partick Thistle until the end of the season.

Having joined The Jags in January, the defender has impressed in six games so far and is being tipped to make a permanent move to the Firhill Stadium in the summer.

Cargill's contract at the Vitality Stadium expires at the end of the current campaign and there are said to be a number of teams ready to offer a deal to the soon-to-be free agent.

Thistle, along with several other Scottish clubs, are ready to do battle for his signature.
