Javier Hernandez has nothing to fear

West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez insists his side should not fear Liverpool ahead of their clash this weekend.

The Hammers will head to Anfield on Saturday full of confidence after losing just two of their last 12 Premier League matches.

David Moyes has steered his troops to 12th in the league table and only Andy Carroll and Edimilson Fernandes will miss the game due to injury.

After a poor start to the season, West Ham are now looking ahead with optimism and Hernandez is confident his side can get a result on Merseyside.

He told the club's official website: "We are recovering a lot of players, so we have a chance to finish the season strongly. We want to keep winning, keep out of the relegation zone and get to 40 points as soon as possible, then achieve even more. Our main goal is to stay out of the relegation zone.

"We had our targets, but they changed. At the beginning of the season, we were aiming to qualify for European competition, but now we are fighting against relegation, but that is sport, that is football and part of life, so we need to accept it and try to be better and get out and see what's going to happen next year."
