The Terriers were held by Swansea last weekend and face another one of their relegation rivals on Saturday as Palace visit the John Smith's Stadium.
A win could potentially move Huddersfield seven points clear of danger, depending on other results, while a defeat would see the Eagles move to within a point of Town.
The situation would have been a little more positive for Huddersfield had they managed to beat Swansea last weekend but Mooy doesn't think their failure to see off the Swans adds to the pressure of facing Palace.
"There was pressure on that game anyway," he told the Huddersfield Examiner. "It's another home game. We need to look forward to it and put in a good performance.
"We're not in the worst position. We have a great chance of staying up. We will just keep going and look forward to the next game. We need to win a few more games."
