Gunners confident of snapping up Real midfielder
Gunners boss Unai Emery has confirmed the club are working hard to sign new players, and will wait for the right quality to become available before making a move, with Ceballos said to be one of the players earmarked. The talented midfielder does not figure in the plans of Real boss Zinedine Zidane, who would happily sell him, but Los Blancos chief Florentino Perez still holds him in high regard and is only willing to sanction a loan deal. That would suit the Gunners, who are working with a limited transfer budget, and it has been suggested they will take him on loan for the season with a view to possibly taking him permanently at the end of the term. Tottenham have also been chasing the 22-year-old but it would appear that the Gunners have beaten their arch rivals to his signature of the Spain international. Emery has suggested he wants up to four new players, and Ceballos could soon get the ball rolling.
