The German club's sporting director Michael Zorc appears to have dealt Manchester United a heavy transfer blow and suggested the 20-year-old winger will be staying put until at least 2022.
Commenting on the England international's future, Zorc told Germany's Sport1: "We have a long-term contract with Jadon Sancho [until 2022]. Nothing will change about that now.
"We are totally relaxed about it... I understand the inquiries, but these whole topics are currently not the top priority.
"The dominant questions that concern us at the moment are rather: How does it go on? When do we play again?
"It is of paramount importance for all of us to be able to end the season. Especially against the background that the concept of the league is viewed positively by many experts."
His comments follow recent reports suggesting United had already agreed on almost all personal details regarding a potential move.
It's said the Sancho has held secret talks with the Red Devils, meaning specifics like contract length, salary, bonuses and a big buyout clause have all been figured out.
Although Chelsea are also interested in Sancho, it's said he's very keen on joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
