The 'TOWIE' star has offered fans a sneak peek of his Essex abode, and in a new video he shows Brits how they can Smartify It Yourself (SIY) using Alexa-enabled technology.

Thanks to the Amazon products, including the Blink Outdoor 4 Camera, Joey now has 24-hour security for his lavish pool, aka ‘The Exclusive Essex Beach Club’, as well as Alexa-controlled blinds and mood lighting to create the perfect bedroom ambiance.

What's more, he also has a smart vacuum cleaner to clean dirt from his floor.

The Smartify It Yourself (SIY) video comes as new research has revealed nearly half (47 per cent) of Brits believe setting up a smart home can be overwhelming, and a third (33 per cent) stated they want to upgrade their own set-up, but lack the confidence and know-how to do so.
