Asus ROG Xbox Ally price ‘revealed’

Asus ROG Xbox Ally price ‘revealed’

Asus may have accidentally leaked the pricing for the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X.

According to a report by 3DJuegos, a now-removed product listing appeared briefly on Asus’ official online store - revealing two versions of the device with prices set at $599 and $799.

These listings have since been taken down, but screenshots were captured and shared across social media.

The lower-priced model is believed to feature the AMD Ryzen Z1 chipset, while the higher-end version reportedly includes the more powerful Z1 Extreme.

Both devices are expected to support full Xbox Game Pass integration and run on a custom Windows-based OS, offering access to a wide range of PC and Xbox titles.

While Asus has not officially confirmed the pricing or release date, industry insiders suggest the company could unveil the ROG Xbox Ally in full at Gamescom 2025 in August.

The ROG Xbox Ally is positioned as a direct competitor to other handheld consoles like the Steam Deck, the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Lenovo Legion Go.

Microsoft announced the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X last month, and confirmed it would release at the end of 2025.

In a statment, Microsoft said: “We’ve optimised Windows 11 to be easy to use on the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X from the moment you power on.

“Because these handhelds run Windows, you have access to games you can’t get elsewhere, so you can enjoy the full freedom and versatility of PC gaming.

“Download games from your favorite storefront, run apps like Discord, watch your favorite streamers on Twitch, and play with your favorite mods - all straight from the Xbox experience. The choice is yours.”
