Away have developed a carry-on bag, which has a removable battery that can keep your phones and tablets charged up whilst you're out and about.
They shared on their website: "Inside: two compartments, one designed for clothes, the other for shoes, toiletries, and other hard objects. Outside: an impenetrable shell that bends under pressure, never breaks.
"The Carry-Ons have an ejectable battery that can charge any phone up to 5x, so you'll always be able to check your maps, email, or Slack. A nylon laundry bag separates clean clothes from dirty - even wet bathing suits are fair game. Buckle down the compression pad to clear up free space.
"When it's all over, Away bags nest neatly inside each other, ready to be tucked away for next time (and save closet space in the meantime). Two zippers slot into a combination lock, so no one's getting into your stuff but you (and the TSA)."
There are two sizes of the carry-on bag and it comes in a variety of colours including black, green, asphalt and a blush pink.
They added: "The Carry-On is sized to fit official airline regulations at 21.7" x 13.7" x 9". It flies on (almost) any plane, anywhere, anytime. The Bigger Carry-On is made to fit the standard that airlines actually use - the sizer. And the sizer can fit slightly bigger bags. We found this out when we put our by-the-book Carry-On in the sizers of all the major airlines and noticed extra wiggle room all around it. So we measured the sizer. Turns out, the sizers are actually oversize. So we gave The Bigger Carry-On the same dimensions as the sizer: 22.7" x 14.7" x 9.6". It fits perfectly because they're literally made for each other. Blame the airlines for the system - we just found the loophole."
