Reaction Engines has joined forces with the European Space Agency, the UK Space Agency and BAE Systems to mastermind the powerful space craft, which will be able to travel at 25 times faster than the speed of sound.
The latest testing which it passed was for the "pre-cooler" system, which prevents the engine from melting by lowering the temperature of compressed air to room temperature in less than a second.
Heat is a major factor in terms of speedy travel and prevented Concorde, which travelled at the speed of sound, from going any quicker.
However, the new technology Sabre and the spaceplane's engineering could make a major breakthrough in travel.
For the aircraft to work in Space, it would need to continue the cooling process until it reached 25 times the speed of sound.
But their plans include transporting people or cargo into Space and back at a lower cost.
