Huge renovation project at Belfast hotel complete

A huge £15 million renovation project at Belfast's Europa Hotel is complete.

Hastings Hotels have spent several years upgrading all 272 bedrooms and improving the Lobby Bar, Piano Restaurant, conference rooms and a penthouse function room at the lavish hotel, as well as introducing a new workspace area for guests.

And marking the new future for the 1970s hotel is a 7x5 foot painting by local artist Colin Davidson titled 'The '71', which encapsulates the city's history with its depiction of the painter's bus route to school.

James McGinn, Managing Director of Hastings Hotels said: “We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our extensive renovation program at The Europa Hotel.

"This transformative project encompasses a comprehensive redesign of all guest rooms, the introduction of state-of-the-art workspaces, and significant upgrades to our food and beverage offerings.

"The Europa has never looked better, and we are genuinely delighted to unveil these stunning enhancements to our valued guests.

"At Hastings Hotels, our commitment to excellence extends beyond mere aesthetics. We are deeply dedicated to investing in our properties and our team to ensure that we maintain our position as one of the world's most renowned and award-winning hotels.

"Our unwavering dedication to hospitality and our steadfast pursuit of perfection are the cornerstones of our continued success, and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience the exceptional quality and service that define The Europa Hotel."

The hotel stayed open during the renovations, with the changes carefully planned and executed in phases to minimise disruption.
