The Liberty Square Riverboat, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Rivers of America - which opened in Fronteirland along with the Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando, Florida, in 1971 - will close beginning July 7.
This is to make way for a Cars-themed area called Piston Peak - which will feature a high-energy, off-the-road rally ride.
Walt Disney Imagineering - the creative team behind the 12 Disney theme parks around the world - has said it will be using a new ride system that will make guests feel like the vehicle they are sitting in is navigating rugged terrain, hills and rocky paths.
The land is also set to be landscaped with "towering trees, snowcapped mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, roaring rivers and impressive geysers".
An opening date for Piston Peak is yet to be confirmed.
A Disney spokesperson said: "Inside Piston Peak, guests will be able to see and explore the visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and more all set within the Disney and Pixar Cars universe.
"To make sure these buildings fit naturally within the surrounding majestic landscapes, Imagineers are using a style of architecture called Parkitecture, which was developed by the National Park Service to create structures that harmonize with the natural environment.
"From the outside, trees will provide a natural barrier between the off-road rally and other parts of Frontierland and Liberty Square.
"Rugged mountains with dramatic peaks will be nestled along a calming waterway across from Grizzly Hall and soaring geysers from the famed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will stretch into the trails of our off-road rally."
This is just the beginning of a massive transformation project for the world's busiest theme park.
Behind the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad rollercoaster in Fronteirland, Imagineers are working hard to bring the first-ever land inspired by the Disney Villains to life.
The land - which has not got an opening date - is set to feature two major attractions, dining and shopping spaces.
