The resort has undergone sweeping changes with both the Frozen land, and am overhauled second park featuring attractions inspired by Pixar, Disney and Marvel stories.
Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, said at the opening ceremony: “With Disney Adventure World, we’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris.
"We’re opening the door to a new era. An era where our guests walk straight into the heart of the stories they love.”
Adventure Way is a vibrant promenade with landscaped gardens, entertainment and dining, including family attraction Raiponce Tangled Spin.
Overlooking Adventure Bay, which seats the park's central lake hosting new nighttime event Disney Cascade of Lights, is World of Frozen, which includes "a fully immersive journey into the kingdom of Arendelle" including a 118-foot-tall North Mountain crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace, the village square and Arendelle Bay.
Frozen Ever After lets guests go on a musical boat ride through scenes from the film soundtracked by songs like Let It Go and Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
Josh D’Amaro - Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company - commented: "Few stories have resonated with fans around the world like Frozen.
“From the screen to our parks, cruises, and beyond, its impact continues to grow, and with World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World, we’re giving guests at Disneyland Paris the opportunity to experience that story in entirely new ways.”
And Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences, reflected on the "second gate" changes for Disneyland Paris.
He added: “We continue to expand Disneyland Paris with ambition and purpose.
“The reimagining of our second gate reflects the very best of what Disney represents: boundless imagination that brings people together.”
