The two rivals will face off in the North London derby on Sunday (23.11.25), but the Gunners' star defender Gabriel may miss the match after picking up an injury on international duty with Brazil.
Gabriel was withdrawn from Brazil's 2-0 win over Senegal on Saturday (15.11.25), and tests have now revealed he has suffered "a muscle injury in his right thigh".
Brazil have confirmed Gabriel has not travelled to Lille ahead of their friendly against Tunisia on Tuesday (18.11.25).
He has instead headed back to London to be treated at Arsenal's training ground.
Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti said: "I don't know what happened, he had a problem with his thigh.
"The medical staff have to check tomorrow. I'm really disappointed he's got an injury. I hope he recovers well and soon."
Journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote on Instagram: "Breaking: Gabriel Magalhaes has a muscle injury in his right thigh, Brazil confirmed.
"Gabriel will not travel to Lille with the Seleçao to face Tunisia as Arsenal staff will assess the defender."
Gabriel has been colossal at the back for Arsenal this season, and is a major reason why they are currently topping the Premier League table.
The Gunners have kept clean sheets in seven of their 11 games so far, and Gabriel has also chipped in with two goals.
However, there is some positive injury news for Arsenal fans.
Romano believes their fellow defender, Riccardo Calafiori, will be fit to face Spurs this weekend, following concerns he was injured on international duty with Italy.
He wrote on X: "Understand Arsenal check confirm news from last 24h: Riccardo Calafiori will be available for North London Derby.
"No injury, no issues. Just overload. #AFC"
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is aiming to guide the club to Premier League glory for the first time since 2004.
