Sanchez has been a huge disappointment since arriving at Old Trafford from Arsenal in January 2018, and even the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not had a positive effect on his performances.
While the majority of the Reds squad have raised their game under the Norwegian, Sanchez has continued to struggle, and reports are rife suggesting they will look to move him on during the close season.
The Chilean does not fit in the plans of Solskjaer, who is expected to be named manager on a permanent basis, but shifting him on a permanent basis could be an issue due to the player's high wage demands and fee involved.
A loan deal could be an option, but United would no doubt have to subsidise some of his reported £500,000 a week wage, as interested parties would not be willing to match it.
Sanchez could of course decide to turn down all chances of a move and sit on the deal before eventually walking away for free.
