Foxes ace hails character after difficult campaign
The Foxes finished the Premier League season in ninth but Evans admitted it had been a tough campaign following the death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in October and the sacking of Claude Puel in February. Brendan Rodgers has come in and following a strong finish to the season and some encouraging results, the future looks a bright one for the club. However, Evans admits the last campaign has been tough going for everyone, and it took a lot of character to get through. 'It has been a difficult season,' he said. 'The first half of the season was very difficult for the club and the supporters, and everyone who has been involved. 'We showed great character at certain times throughout the season. There were so many games this season we went behind early doors and managed to get something out of games. 'There has been a character and a spirit. Even the manager has been impressed with that since he has come in.'
