Dortmund stopper Diallo honoured at switch to 'prestigious' PSG
The central defender, who came through the youth system of PSG's Ligue 1 rivals Monaco and has represented France at every level except the senior side, only moved to Dortmund side last summer from Mainz. Diallo managed 38 appearances across all competitions for BVB and PSG made the move to land him in a 32million euros fee, with the 23-year-old agreeing a five-year deal in the French capital. Speaking about the move, he said: 'It is a great honour to be involved with such a prestigious club as Paris Saint-Germain. 'I have always said that the Parisian project was very attractive. Joining the capital club is another important step in my career. 'I am committed to giving my all for my new club and look forward to bringing my qualities and desire to this team renowned for its high quality and high ambitions.' Diallo is the third new signing at the Parc des Princes this summer following on from Ander Herrera and Pablo Sarabia.
