Trinity need one more win - Chester

Trinity gave Hull a run for their money on Sunday but eventually lost out to the Black and whites who have now moved up to third in the Super League table.

Wakefield remain in ninth spot but face fellow strugglers Hull KR next weekend in what could be a crucial tie but Chris Chester felt they had an opportunity against Hull but failed to take it.

He said: 'We had a period of 10 to 12 minutes when we didn't touch the ball. They scored two tries off intercepts and, although we needed to react better, I felt we were getting the upper hand.

'We're probably guilty of trying to play too much and we're let down by a couple of individuals not playing their best rugby at the moment.

'I'm pretty deflated because I thought they were there for the taking. We had enough field possession to win two games.'

Meanwhile Chester is looking for that one more victory which he hopes will be enough to secure their top-flight status.

'I think one win would be enough and the sooner we get that the better for everybody,' he said.

'We've four cup finals coming up and Hull KR next week is really important.'
