Safeguarding the emails and personal data of every GMX user is hugely important to us. We protect your info using the best security standards according to the laws set by the European data security regulations, regardless of whether you use a browser or the iOS app.

Adjusting passwords or checking your personal information in your account is possible by heading to ‘My GMX Account’. You can view or edit the data, and update your password recovery options – these could be your mobile phone number or a different email address. You’ll have to log in again to your account to do so, however.
The GMX iOS Mail app provides you with quick access to your emails and notifications for new messages, and that is why there’s no option to log out. It is easy to safeguard your account and info from unauthorised access with a PIN, Touch ID, Face ID, and the screen lock on your iOS device. In the event that your iOS device is lost or stolen, it’s easy to reset mobile access so that it’s required to enter login details for your GMX mailbox. Use a desktop computer or laptop to log in to your account and go to ’Security’ in the ’My Account’ section, on the left of the menu.
