The iOS Mail app makes emailing simple

Loads of great features at your fingertips

Start writing emails

Just click the pencil icon and start writing a new message. After writing the content, and entering the recipient and subject, just hit ‘Send’!

Remove unwanted emails

Begin cleaning your inbox by rapidly swiping emails to the left. The email will be deleted and sent to Trash, but can still be recovered if needed.

Look for new emails

Checking your inbox for new messages is easy: Drag your finger downward on the screen to refresh, and any new email will be displayed in bold font.

Customise your inbox

If you’d like to favourite, delete, or even direct an email to a certain folder, then just swipe gently to the left on the individual email. You can then decide what to do from the selections presented.

Change your data and passwords

Adjusting passwords or checking your personal information in your account is possible by heading to ‘My GMX Account’. You can view or edit the data, and update your password recovery options – these could be your mobile phone number or a different email address. You’ll have to log in again to your account to do so, however.

Stop unauthorised access and guard your account

The GMX iOS Mail app provides you with quick access to your emails and notifications for new messages, and that is why there’s no option to log out. It is easy to safeguard your account and info from unauthorised access with a PIN, Touch ID, Face ID, and the screen lock on your iOS device. Reset mobile access if your iOS device is stolen or lost

In the event that your iOS device is lost or stolen, it’s easy to reset mobile access so that it’s required to enter login details for your GMX mailbox. Use a desktop computer or laptop to log in to your account and go to ’Security’ in the ’My Account’ section, on the left of the menu.
