Google unveils new AI tools to boost learning and productivity

Google is rolling out a fresh batch of AI-powered experiments designed to make learning more playful, personal, and accessible.

Announced through Google Arts and Culture, the trio of new tools blends generative AI with creative education, turning everyday moments into launchpads for exploration.

The first experiment, Learn Everything, reimagines how we absorb complex topics.

Snap a photo of anything around you - your latte, a houseplant, your cat sprawled on the sofa - and Google AI transforms it into a metaphor-driven lesson. Pick a subject like relativity or biochemistry and choose your difficulty level.

In seconds, your cappuccino becomes a chemistry explainer, or your cat a guide to thermodynamics - letting users lower the barrier to scientific curiosity.

Next up is World Toon Video, a generative AI tool that places you inside an educational animated short.

Take a selfie, choose an art style, and select a setting, from ancient history to deep space. Google’s models build a personalised mini-lesson with you as the protagonist, making learning feel like starring in your own cartoon field trip.

Finally, Art Chat brings famous artworks to life through conversational AI.

While watching explainer videos on masterpieces like The Starry Night or Hopper’s Nighthawks, you can pause and ask questions on the fly.

Google’s Gemini model responds instantly without interrupting the experience, turning passive watching into real-time discovery.

All three AI experiments are available now in the Google Arts and Culture app on Android and iOS, expanding Google’s ongoing push to make education more interactive, creative, and delightfully weird.
