The multinational corporation's CEO Elon Musk is keen to recruit video game developers to join the team as he wants to work on embedding "super fun games" into the vehicle's touch screen.
He tweeted: "If you're into video game development, consider applying to Tesla. We want to make super fun games that integrate the center touch screen, phone & car irl [in real life] (sic)."
When someone requested Pokemon Go be added, Elon replied: "Something like that, but more of an adults in cars anime vibe."
Meanwhile, Tesla previously revealed they are working on a music streaming service to offer to those who purchase their vehicles.
A Tesla spokesman said: "We believe it's important to have an exceptional in-car experience so our customers can listen to the music they want from whatever source they choose. Our goal is to simply achieve maximum happiness for our customers."
It is thought Tesla could be offering a Pandora-style radio to begin with, as well as options to have other tiers of service too.
And Tesla CEO Musk recently appeared to hint that he wanted to explore the options for music streaming when he met with shareholders in June. He told them it was difficult to find "good playlists or good matching algorithms".
