The photo app and online retailer have announced a partnership which will let people point their phone at a physical product or barcode before being redirected to a pop-card for either the item in question or something similar.
As reported by The Verge, it can then be loaded in the Amazon app or through the company's website, and bought by the user.
It's said it will be as simple as pressing and holding the camera screen to activate the function, although it's not yet been revealed whether Snap will get a cut of the revenue from each purchase.
Snap announced: "Beginning this week, we're testing a new way to search for products on Amazon right from the Snapchat camera.
"We'll be rolling it out slowly, but we wanted to announce it to everyone at the same time."
