AI-powere robot could help elderly beat loneliness

Kiki the AI-powered pet robot could help the elderly beat loneliess.

The cute design, featuring anime eyes, from Zoetic is the latest companionship robot invented to offer affection or company to those who live alone.

A camera in Kiki's noise allows the android to remember people around him and can even tell when you are feeling upset by tracking the owner's face, and proceeding to sing and dance in a bid to cheer you up.

However, if the owner is not one for signing and dancing, Kiki changes according to the personality of the user.

Just like a real-life pet, Kiki has to be fed, but not with actual human food, just by drawing items onto the touchscreen.

Kiki is yet to go on sale and is still looking for a distributor.
