Google's Friends tribute

Google is paying tribute to 'Friends' on its 25th anniversary.

The iconic NBC show - starring Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing and David Schwimmer as Ross Geller -debuted 25 years ago and to celebrate, Google has added Easter Eggs to its search terms for each of the characters.

When fans Google Ross Geller, the screen tilts as he shouts "Pivot" each time you click until he says, "I don't think it's gonna pivot anymore".

Fans who search for Phoebe Buffay, can hear the character singing her famous song 'Smelly Cat', while searching Rachel Green calls up an icon of The Rachel haircut, which brings fans to a Google Images search results page for the iconic hairstyle.

Searching clean-freak Monica Geller's name will bring up a soap bucket, which, when clicked, will produce a soap bucket to clean the page.

Typing Joey Tribbiani's name into the search engine will bring up a pizza icon and pictures of lots of different foods and when this is clicked, two hands will reach up from the bottom of the screen with Joey's voice saying: "Joey doesn't share food!"

And Chandler's name will lead to a picture of his favourite recliner, before his beloved chick and duck jump out and walk around the screen.
