Trying new foods is favourite part of holiday

Trying different kinds of food is the top moment people look forward to when going on holiday.

The coronavirus pandemic may have mainly halted international travel, but that doesn't stop us dreaming about jetting off away on our favourite destinations.

A new study of 2,000 travellers was commissioned by Hilton as part of their ‘To New Memories’ campaign, and it revealed that people are really missing making memories abroad including having a new adventure and spending time with loved ones.

And UK travellers love to be able to eat what they want when they're abroad whilst a large group of people also love the idea of leaving behind the day to day life.

Stephen Cassidy, managing director of Hilton UK & Ireland, said: "Travel is an unstoppable force, and we know our customers are eager to reconnect with the people and places they love.

"Holidays give us memories which we can look back on for a lifetime and this year, more so than ever, has made us realise just how important they are. Hilton team members, all over the world, are looking forward to welcoming guests with all the reassurance they need – best-in-class hospitality, cleanliness and flexibility – so they can create their new memories whenever they are ready."
