A study by Visit Anaheim has found that a whopping seven out of 10 will travel somewhere specifically to try the alcohol of that region.
Nearly three quarters (72 per cent) of the 2,000 Americans surveyed said they went to a local brewery to go tasting beers whilst on holiday.
And in the United States, California is the most popular destination, with 41 percent of drinkers heading there. Germany, France, Italy and Belgium are also popular destinations too.
Charles Harris, senior vice president of marketing for Visit Anaheim, said: "You don't have to be a cicerone to appreciate the perfect pint in Anaheim. Our tight-knit community of brewers is gaining national attention, building Orange County's reputation as a centre of innovative craft brewing. Anaheim should definitely be on your list of cities to visit on your next beercation."
With California being the most popular destination for beer drinkers, San Francisco is a great place to head and is home to breweries such as the ones that produce Hell or High Watermelon Wheat beer from the 21st Amendment Brewery or Anchor Brewing. San Diego is home to the Stone Brewing Company and Ballast Point Brewing Company.
