The all-new ‘recharge for thrills’ area, launching in spring 2026, will be located on part of the former Amity Beach site and is designed as a central hub where visitors can relax, refuel and reset between rides.
The space will offer a vibrant setting for thrill-seekers to socialise and share experiences before diving back into the action at the resort.
The new addition comes as Thorpe Park prepares to reopen its doors to its 24 rides and attractions, including its headline Big 6 coasters.
Leading the line-up is Hyperia, the UK’s tallest, fastest and most weightless roller coaster, standing at 236ft and reaching speeds of 81mph. The ride has quickly established itself as a must-experience for adrenaline fans.
The so-called Big 6 also includes the explosive launch of Stealth - which accelerates from 0-80mph in under two seconds - the winged near-misses of THE SWARM, the beyond-vertical drop of SAW – The Ride, the volcanic twists of Nemesis Inferno and the ten inversions of Colossus.
Families and younger visitors can enjoy attractions such as Flying Fish, Zodiac and Quantum, while water ride enthusiasts can cool off on Tidal Wave, Storm Surge and Depth Charge.
Later in the season, the park will celebrate 25 years of Fright Nights, its popular Halloween event featuring scare mazes, immersive zones and the chance to ride selected coasters in the dark.
Guests looking to extend their stay can book the on-site Shark Cabins, and annual passes offer unlimited access throughout the season, which opens on 27 March and runs until 1 November 2026. Find out more at thorpepark.com.
