Lennon wants fast Celtic start
The Romanian side will be familiar opponents for Celtic, as they knocked the Bhoys out of Champions League qualifying earlier this season after claiming a memorable 4-3 victory in Glasgow. Lennon admits the pain of that defeat, that saw Celtic drop into the Europa League, still hurts, and he has called for his side to make a fast start on Thursday night. "It is important to start the game well. I want us to get a head of steam up," Lennon told reporters. "That is important. Obviously we have to be wary of Cluj trying to negate that or taking the game to us. "I am expecting the game to be high octane. "That is the kind of performance I want from us, to get the crowd going as quickly as they can because that is a real added factor for us at home." Celtic will head into the match with plenty of confidence, as they have not lost since their last meeting with Cluj and they got their group stage campaign underway with an impressive draw in Rennes last month. The Glasgow giants are looking to make it through to the knockout stages of Europe's secondary competition for the second season in a row after coming through a group that contained Salzburg, RB Leipzig and Rosenborg 12 months ago.
