The shuffle feature - which lets users hit a button when they don't know what they want to watch - means the streaming platform can pick something from its catalogue.
As reported by Variety, the exciting addition is available on TV versions around the world, with Android tests planned in the near future.
The feature can be found either under your profile name, from the 10th row on your home screen, or the app's menu.
It also supports Text-to-Speech for subscribers using screen-readers.
Play Something works by Netflix picking something based on what you've previously watched.
Earlier this year, the company's COO and chief product officer Greg Peters said: "Members can basically indicate to us that they just want to skip browsing entirely, click one button, and we’ll pick a title for them just to instantly play.”
